  • Who does unabridged work with?
    We work with higher education institutions, private enterprises, and non-profit organizations.
  • Why should I choose unabridged?
    Unabridged is focused on helping departments and organizations, with incorporating operational sustainability into their daily operations. We use our propriety MAGIC Method, which is based on real-world solutions, a focus on collaboration, and transparent pricing.
  • How long does it take to complete?
    It depends on the size of your team, but a general estimate of our timelines, from when a project is started to the completion, is provided below.
  • What size does my department or organization have to be?
    We work with departments or organizations that have between 3 to 25 employees. We specialize in these smaller group settings, which allows us to focus on building meaningful relationships with you and your team. While your organization may employ hundreds of people, we focus on the individual departments within the larger organization.
  • I've already decided I want to go with the EIO Program. Do I have to get the other solutions?
    Yes. The findings from the MAGIC: Map & Report and the MAGIC: Team Review are necessary to implement the MAGIC: EIO Program. That is why we begin all of our clients with the MAGIC: Map & Report. At the conclusion of this, we can discuss if you would like to partner with us for our other solutions. Operational sustainability is a process, and it takes time to implement an detailed plan. We'll get there soon enough.
  • My department only has a few employees. Can I ask another department to join in on a combined service?
    Due to departmental differences (i.e. structure, reporting, staff, workflows, etc.), each department would have to request separate services. This allows us to provide the best service for everyone and to streamline the process.
  • Does unabridged work with sole proprietors?
    Yes, if you have employees, who help in the general administrative operations of the business, unabridged may be able to help. We recommend scheduling a time to chat with us, to see if we would be a good fit for each other.
  • What about the price?
    We offer transparent pricing. No tricks, gimmicks, or hidden fees. Check out the table below for more information about our pricing. *All of our clients begin with the MAGIC: Map & Report, at the conclusion of this, we can discuss pricing for the MAGIC: EIO Program. Think of it like a test drive. You may find out your team will be able to implement the findings of the report on your own, or you may want to continue partnering with us for our turnkey solution. It also allows us to be able to provide the most accurate price, based on the findings of the report. For more information about our solutions, click the button below.
  • What do you mean by, based on the size of the team?
    Our pricing is based on the size of your team (all employees in the department, including management/administration).
  • Really? Transparent pricing coming from a consultant?
    Yes, really. We value transparency and simplicity when making decisions. That's why we provide all the relevant information, so you can make an informed decision and feel good about it.
  • Is the price negotiable or do you offer discounts?
    For unabridged to offer transparent and fair pricing, we don't negotiate our prices or offer discounts. What you see, is what you get. A fair price and a valuable return on your investment.
  • Are there any additional/hidden fees?
    There are never any hidden fees. However, there are times when additional fees are necessary. These can include travel fees or for some specialty solutions, we may partner with our network of subject matter professionals, which may require an additional fee. We'll never add this fee without informing you first and you'll decide if you would like to proceed, before being invoiced. These fees will be included in an itemized quote.
  • Why is the price for the MAGIC: EIO Program not listed?
    Our MAGIC: Excellence in Operations (EIO) Program is our turnkey solution, which requires a higher level of involvement by unabridged, to ensure implementation. Due to this and the amount of variables, we can only discuss the pricing once we have the results of MAGIC: Map & Report. This ensures we can provide a fair price to you. Think about it like this. Would you let a mechanic provide a price to fix your car, without looking it over? Us neither.
  • How do I contact unabridged?
    We offer two ways to contact unabridged.   • Why is there no email or phone number listed on the website?
    It goes back out our operational sustainability. Instead of multiple emails to gather all of the information we need, we request it via our contact form or booking service. We'll then follow-up, via email, which will also have our phone number provided. It streamlines the process and we can ensure a better experience for you. In appreciation for this, you also receive a complimentary item to help you on your OPSUS journey. Oh, and we mail this item, because, I think we've all received enough of the free downloads that also seem to get lost. 😉
